Snow Girl Birthday Card!

This is a simple birthday card for a family member!  Can't say until they receive it!  I have about 4-5 birthdays that all seem to land in about a week of each other!  Whew!   Some people may just get their cards a little late!  But hey, it makes their birthday seem to last a little longer... and maybe they have given up on getting a card from me and then...surprise!  LOL  Since it is still very much winter here and I just love making Christmas cards and I am having a hard time changing from them...I thought that I would keep that theme going!  Right?  Well, here is what I came up with!

An up-close of her hat!

I used:
Plantin Schoolbook Cartridge for all the circle cuts
Sweet Treats Cartridge for the tag
Stand and Salute for the nose, I trimmed it up to give it that not so perfect look
Black and White cardstock
Pink Ink
Dimensional tape
Cotton Candy and Icicle stickles for that little something sparkly
Paper flowers and the ribbon are from my stash from collecting for years
Pink Rhinestone from my stash

For Challenges:
Birthday Sundaes

Well, thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a  wonderful day!

All Occasion Cards

Hey everyone, I hope you are all doing really well!  I have been very busy as of lately, but somehow I have managed to squeeze in some time to do a little card making/therapy.  I need that sometimes!  Well, at Christmas time my family gave me a gift card to Michael's...and I had to choose between several things that I wanted and needed.  Oh decisions, decisions!  I am not very good at making them, plus when there are soooo many things I would like to have and such. I really struggle with that!  Do I buy, ribbon, sparkles, tools, stamps, ink, embossing stuff, embellishments....you get the picture!   Well, I decided on giving the Copic markers a try!  I always have loved what people have done with them and such.  The ability to "shade" with them and of course color appeals to my artistic side.
Also, on top of that my wonderful hubby and family bought me the I-rock tool.  So naturally, I NEEDED the rhinestones to go with it.  So that was something else I HAD to buy.  Plus, a bunch of paper stacks were on sale and there was some very sparkly paper that I had never seen before....so again I HAD to get some of that.  The list just kept growing as I walked around and the money kept getting smaller and smaller!   I bet none of you have that problem!
Any who, these cards are my first attempt at using my Copic markers and the I-rock!  So of course, I had to have a reason for using them all.  Naturally an all occasion cards are a perfect occasion!  Right?  Well, this is what I came up with and I hope you all like it!  They are basically the same card the only difference is the coloring of the stamps and the I-rock studs and the first one I did a little bit of "distressing" with a bit of silver ink.  I guess, I was just having a little bit of fun and playing around with my new necessary toys!

Well, stay warm and have a great day!

Liebster Blog Award!

I have a blog award I want to share with you!  Sarah at Sarah's Crafts & Stuff was so sweet to honor me with the "Liebster award! Thank you so much, Sarah! “Liebster” is a German word meaning dearest, beloved or favorite, and the Liebster Award is sort of a chain letter among bloggers that’s intended to showcase exceptional up-and-coming blogs (typically, those with 200 or fewer followers). Now, there’s no evaluation committee or formal award process for the Liebster, but in a way it’s even nicer – it’s recognition that a peer has noticed and appreciated your hard work.

Here are the rules:
Choose 5 up and coming blogs of fewer than 200 followers to award the Liebster to.
Show your thanks to the blogger who gave you the award by linking back to them.
Post the award on your blog. Link back to the blogs you have given the Liebster to so everyone else can pay them a visit.

So here are the 5 blogs I have chosen:
Gracenotes For Today
Fairly Crafty
Mindless Creativity
A Day InThe Life Of A Horse Bunny
Imaginational Wonders
