19th Anniversary

Well, yesterday was my 19th Wedding Anniversary with my wonderful hubby!  He is so special to me and I am so glad that God choose him for me.  I could not have asked for a more wonderful and perfect man to complete me.  He is still loving me for who I am, even at my worst times.  There are days/moments that are wonderful and then there are days/moments where it is more work than fun.  But through it all if you come through it all, loving each other more, it is all worth it.  But most importantly, our marriage has been so much richer and meaningful because it is centered around Jesus and loving Him.  Learning to forgive each other and not bringing the past up is HUGE.  God is LOVE and if you love Him, your love for each other is deeper and more full.  Is it always perfect?  No, but you learn and move on and grow deeper in love with Jesus and with each other.

I used:
Christmas Cards Cricut Cartridge for the card base
Cricut Craft Room Basics for the Heart cut outs
Plantin SchoolBook for the scalloped edge

Cordinations Black Cardstock
Black Ribbon from Michael's
Cuttlebug Polka Dots embossing folder
Stamped Sentiment is a stamp from Hobby Lobby

 May you have blessed day!

Oak Leaf Negative, Quilt Card

Okay I am back with another one today!  Not sure who is going to be the lucky recipient of this card...maybe my mom or my sister.  Shhhhh! Don't tell them though!  I have been making a lot of these lately because they are fairly simple and quick.  This one was a little more complicated because I did a lot more cuts by putting things in the corners and then layering them too.  I am very happy how it turned out too!  Whoever gets this, I am sure they will enjoy it!  This time I used my Cricut for all the cuts!

I used:
DCWV The Natural Stack (I love this paper)
DCWV Glittered stack
Plantin SchoolBook Cricut Cartridge
Potpourri Basket Cricut Cartridge
Recollections Signature Pen: Gold for the stitching

Thanks again for stopping in!
I hope you have a day filled with many blessings!

Baby Boy, Side Stair Step Dresser

Hello again!  I have been very busy lately and have been all over the place.  One was a baby shower for my cousin and his wife, who just got married a year ago today.  They are having a baby boy in January sometime and the family just had their baby shower.  Such an exciting event for them!  They are special people and have been through a lot in just their first year of marriage.  Either way, we love them so much and are praying that everything goes well from here on out with the baby and delivery.
Well, I wanted to try one of these side stair step dresser cards, and I had the perfect opportunity to do it!  I am fairly pleased with it...what do you think?  I know they loved the little detail of the International Harvester Tractor, that I included for them. It is their favorite kind of tractor, seeing as how they have one and use on their farm.  That was a fun little detail to add for them!

A Child's YearCricut Cartridge
