Let's Face it Friday - Altered Card Storage

In general, here is what "THE CHALLENGE" is all about...
Card Storage

Create an altered container using Peachy Keen Stamps faces to store Valentines or cards you receive throughout the year...feel free to spruce up any container you might have around the house!

•Design must be new

•Project must include Peachy Keen Faces

So Here is what I came up with and what I used...
I started with two different boxes, of different sizes, yet very close, with the bottom one being slightly smaller than the top.  Actually my bottom box changed, to a different graham cracker box, and I was so excited to get started that I forgot to retake the picture.  But you should get the idea from the pictures, as I go along.

Next, I cut the larger box down to about 2 and 1/2 inches, leaving the lid on the top.  This will be the lid to my container.  Then I cut part of the other box down to about 6 inches in height.  This will be the bottom part/the storage part for the cards.  Then I covered both with paper.  That was a first for trying to cover something with paper besides gifts.   Next, I added red paper that I punched with my Martha Stewart punch, and then wrapped it around the inside of the lid.  I don't think I did to bad either.  Here is the lid and box covered with the paper before decorating them.
Then began the fun stuff, decorating!!!!

First I added some old ribbon that I have had for years, and glued it around the lid.  Then, I used my Cricut Expression, and my Gypsy, with the cart. Gypsy Wanderings to make the cuts for the fancy swirly things, on the front and the sides of the box.  Then I added some flowers that come from one of my older and favorite paper flower punches, that I don't know what brand they are.  That is where my PK stamps come in.  I also added some rhinestones and some hearts with more PK stamps, with some "gathering" ribbon behind the hearts.  On the lid I cut out with my Cricut and Gypsy the letters XOXO. I love how it ALL turned out!
This is the front/back of the box, I am not sure which!
The two "fronts"!

Then of course, the finished product with cards neatly tucked inside!  Whooohooo! That was fun!  I can't wait to see what is next!
I hope you like what you see!   Thanks for looking!
