Mother's Day Gifts 2016

So here is my handmade gift I made this year extra special for our mom's.  These were so surprisingly simple and quick to make.  Such a simple craft that turns out great with very little effort and can be reused again if they desire to share them with someone else!  These are simple paper purses, and no Cricut was used for the making of them except for the tags!  Just a paper cutter, and punches and some strong adhesive and embellishments. I loved the results and they almost looked like real purses, even down to the faux stitching done with a ruler and a white gel pen.  Then I filled these gift bags with some goodies, and some pretty smelling Bath and Body works soaps and hand sanitizers.  I know they enjoyed them a lot and were delighted to get them.

HERE is a video tutorial that was wonderfully done to know how to make one yourself.
Thank you for taking a look at what I have been busy doing down in my craft space!
I hope you have a wonderful day!

2016 Mother's Day Cards

Well, these are just a few of the cards I did for the moms in our families for Mother's day!  I tried to stick with a the same color scheme or coordinating papers for them all, except one.  As you can see one is a new mommy to be soon.  We are all so very excited for my niece and her hubby and their sweet little baby boy that is coming in the end of August.  Yahoo!  I did a bunch of the Free cuts on the Cricut Design Space which made things a lot simpler for me and this crazy busy time of year.  The mom to be one, was my own design.  Anyways, I think they all liked them!

Peter Pan Birthday

Hello, only a few more posts for the day, and I should be done till the next time!  :-)  Anyways, this card was made for my daughter who just turned 19.  She loves the classic stories, such as Peter Pan.  So I just had to make her a card that reflected that.  Plus to make it even better, we had her cake done to match.  I still feel that the card was missing something but was very proud of myself for doing several image downloads and converted them into cut files to cut on my Cricut Explore. <3 and="" came="" font="" happy="" i="" is="" know="" nbsp="" she="" so="" this="" up="" very="" was="" what="" with="">

Thank you so much for looking around at my projects

Hello Birthday Pop Up

Hi!  Yet another one of my recent creations with my Cricut!  My niece just recently had a birthday and I was a little late at getting it to her, so I kinda made a belated birthday card for her.  This was my opportunity to use the telephone cut that I have always loved and wanted to do!  I love this paper and how this card turned out so cute.  The inside I also made the message a pop up like I did for the previous graduation cards for her sisters.  Such a simple technique with a little bit of flare.  All the writing was done on my Cricut and then I stamped images around the edges of the pop up inside the card.  I hope she liked it!

Thanks for stepping into my craft room with my Cricut and seeing what we have been up to!
Have a wonderful day!

Time Flies 25th Anniversary

Hello again,  Here is another card I have recently made.  This one was for my sister and her hubby's 25th wedding anniversary.  All I know is that I wanted to do hot air balloon for someone, and they just happened to have an anniversary.  So that was perfect, because time flies when you are married and so busy raising your kids and just life in general.  So this is what I came up with for them.  The inside was also a pop up with the words, "Happy Anniversary" that I cut out and just attached to each side of the inside of the card.  I knew I wanted it to have some silver and to be elegant yet simple too.  I think it turned out decent enough for what I was going for.

Well, thanks again for taking a look into
 my card making life!
Have a great day!

College Graduation Shaker/PopUp Cards 2016

Well Hello Again!  I have been down in my craft room a lot lately and have a few projects to show you all!  So stick with me as I update and make several posts to show you all what I have been up to!  Anyways, 2 of my nieces, who are sisters, are graduating from college and about a week apart from each other. The problem is that one is in Kentucky and the other is in California.  Whew, what a huge distance from each other and home.  Anyways, I sent them both the same card just with slight variations either in color and ribbon and such.  They are both shaker cards, so hopefully the post office didn't freak out when they made noise. LOL  Plus the inside was a type of pop-up.  A pleasant surprise to open to.  I sure hope they liked them!
