Another Mothers Day Creation

I made another Mothers Day Card for the 7 mothers in my family/life.  Weather they are mother in laws or sister in laws or grandmas or sisters and of course my mother, they all get one from us.  Plus it is a great excuse for me to make cards and spend lots of time crafting away with my favorite things...Ahhh, the smell of paper!  LOL
Well this card is again the same flowers as the ones I posted earlier, only the buds were made by folding/smashing into the shape.  I did not do the centers of the bud because no one would see that part.  These flowers are so beautiful and so simple to make.

I used:
Martha Stewart Trellis Punch
Cuttlebug folder "Textile"
Gypsy Font Cartridge for the letters
Velum papers (for instructions on flowers and things used for the flowers, see previous post)
Pink Satin Ribbon (From my stash)
Blue, yellow and pink cardstock
Blue rhinestones

Well, thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a great day!

Mother's Day Dogwood!

I made this for Mother's Day for one of the many mom's in my life...I got the idea from the amazing "JoySikes" on the Cricut Message Board, for the dogwood flowers (THANK YOU), and changed mine up to what I had available to me.

I used:

MS hydrangea punch
White/pink card stock
Translucent white/pinks(gradually getting lighter in color) velum paper
I slightly nipped off the point of the flower with a Hole punch
Red stamp pad for the tips of the flowers
Next I punched with my hole punch a green circle and glued it into the center of the flower and put some Yellow Stickles on top.
Forever Young Cart. for the ovals.
Gray/ black/white cardstock
Slice Acetate Brocade over the cardstock
The actual card cut is from the Sentimentals Cartidge.
The sentiment stamp came from Hobby Lobby.
The silver ribbon is left over from Christmas from Michaels and the pink and white again are old supplies

I am so very pleased how this turned out. Thanks for looking and have wonderful day!

Marriage Takes Three

I came across this poem years ago, and thought that a little part of it would be great to put in an anniversary card as the sentiment.  Even though you don't see it on this card I made, it is actually on the back of it for the recipiants to read.  So here is the actual poem that I used just a little part of it.

Marriage Takes Three
Marriage takes three to be complete;
It's not enough for two to meet.
They must be united in love
By love's Creator, God above.
Then their love will be firm and strong;
Able to last when things go wrong,
Because they've felt God's love and know
He's always there, He'll never go.
And they have both loved Him in kind
With all the heart and soul and mind
And in that love they've found the way
To love each other every day.
A marriage that follows God's plan
Takes more than a woman and a man.
It needs a oneness that can be
Only from Christ-
Marriage takes three.
