Looking Into The Future

This is for my cousin's fiance who's bridal shower is coming up really soon.  I wanted it to have that "vintage" look yet kinda romantic. I still need to find some kind of sentiment that talks about making the preparations for the wedding... Also, this was my first time making a "Gate Fold" card. Plus, the flowers in the bouquet below the bride, they are handmade.  Those took some time but I am very pleased how they turned out.  I think it all turned out really pretty.  I hope she likes it and appreciates handmade cards.

I used:
Gypsy Font Cartridge
Forever Young Cartridge
Paper Doll Dress Up Cartridge
Potpourri Basket Cartridge
Gray Card stock
DCWV the glitter card stock stack
K & Company Life's Journey Paper
Stickles
Red Ink
Mustard Glimmer Mist
Recollections Pearl Stickers
Ribbon, lace, and rose button are from my stash

The Front before being opened

The inside after it is opened.  The sentiment/poem with signature will be on each side.

Up close of the Handmade roses!

Thank you so much for looking and stopping by!  I hope you have a wonderful day!

Graduation Tent Fold

I made this card for a cousin of ours who just recently graduated from HS.  I have never made one of these before, but when I saw it, I thought that the top looked perfect for a graduation cap.  So that was the start and inspiration for his card.  I think it turned out pretty well. HERE is the link to the tutorial on how to make this one, which is known as a "Vertical Tent Fold". She also has other tutorials on how to make a Horizontal-tutorial   It is a small sort of card, but perfect for a teenage guy.  Simple without all the fuss.

I used:
Tag, Bags, Boxes, and More Cartridge
A Child's Year Cartridge
White/black Cardstock
Graduation paper from Hobby Lobby
Brad
Tassle from Hobby Lobby
Stamp from Hobby Lobby
Ribbon from my stash

Thank You so much for stopping in and seeing what I have been up to lately!  I hope you are having a terrific day!
