Musical Birthday!

Hey everyone, I hope your new year has started out good!  Mine has been very busy, but pretty good!  Due to the holiday season keeping me so very busy, I have been a little late on getting some birthday cards done!  Next year, I will just have to plan better and have the birthday cards done that come either at the end of the year or the beginning of the new year done way a head of time.  Well, as the saying goes, "Better Late than Never!"  Right?  This card was again made to my nieces interests, plus I have always wanted to use the grand piano cut.  My niece is going to college for music, and she is always playing the piano and singing!  So naturally that was my inspiration or excuse to use that cut!  LOL  This was a very simple card to make!  I love the look of the embossed music in the background made by a simple stamp, too.

I used:
Core'dinations ColorCore Cardstock
DCWV The Linen Closet Stack
A Child's Year Cartridge for the piano
Kate's ABC's for the flower vase
Recollections Music Stamp
Silver Embossing ink and powder
Ribbon from my stash

Well, thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you have a great day!
