Anniversary Pop-Up Box Card

The weather here, has been so crazy and up and down in temperatures.  Spring has sprung but winter is not over yet.  A few days ago we had a humid 80* out and then the next day we had snow and below freezing temperatures.  Brrrr!  Oh well, winter has to have the last word around here before it goes out completely!  I know the warmer weather will come and stay but we just have to be patient.  Till then I will continue to keep enjoying my corner of paper and my card making supplies!  LOL
Okay, now onto the card!  I made this for my sister and BIL, who just celebrated their wedding Anniversary.  They are so very special to us in so many ways.  They have been a help to us in so many ways through the years.  We are so blessed that we are related to them.  I wanted to make something fun yet kinda showing that an anniversary means lots of love!  Plus, I really love the pop- up box cards.  These cards are something that lays flat yet is dimensional and displayable and you can get as fancy or as simple as you want, with very little effort.  So this is what I came up with for this very special couple!

I Used:
Cricut Craft Room Basics Cricut Cartridge for heart cuts
Gypsy Wanderings Cricut Cartridge for heart cuts
Plantin SchoolBook Cricut Cartridge for heart cuts
Potpourri Basket Cricut Cartridge for heart cuts
The Paper Studio Persnickety Paper Pack
Black and Pink Cardstock
Clear Acetate strips for the floating hearts
Stamped Sentiment from Hobby Lobby
Liquid Pearls:  White Opal

Thanks for coming by, and looking at what I have been up to as of lately!
Stay warm and enjoy your spring!

  1. I love the colors you chose. This is such a fun card to make and I love how you made it look like a garden of hearts. I have been meaning to do hearts or flowers but once I get going I can't help but craft with little critters :)
