My 12th birthday was recently celebrated and this it the card that I planned and designed on my Gypsy and the saved for months...Then ON THE DAY, of his birthday I made him stay upstairs so that I could could make it for him. As you can see, it was pretty simple, so he did not have to stay upstairs to long. He loves bouncy balls and is collecting them. He has about 70+ of them and counting. That is where I got my inspiration and that is what all the circles are. (just in case you were wondering) I just cut a bunch of circles out of different sizes. Then I cut more circles out just one step bigger than each one was, for the shadow. Next, I put my Crystal effect from S.U. on the printed paper of each circle to give them the look of rubber. Then I pop dotted the shadow with the printed paper, and glued them to card. I stamped the image of Happy Birthday and pop dotted that too. Then I drew the "bouncy lines" with my black stickles. Then once the inside was done, I let him come down, and we had a BIG celebration of his 12th Birthday! Yea!!!! And guess what he got??? More bouncy balls from his Grandparents!
Paper, Ribbon, Sparkles, Embellishments...are just a few things that you will see here on my blog! I am so glad you stopped by!

1st Z-card!
I made my first Z-card the other day and then I did it again, but this time to actually give away with a little tweeking of my own. It is called a Z-card because of its shape when it is all folded up, it makes a Z. This is a fairly simple card to make. I had to cut mine down just a little to get it to fit into my envelopes that I already have. So this is what I came up with. This is going to one of the ladies at our church.
I used:
My Gypsy
an "old" edge punch
Paper flowers
some brads
S.U. Stamp
Satin Ribbon
The back ground for both my Stamped image and my message comes from the Blackletter cart.
I am sure I will be making more of these since they are so simple! Well, thanks for looking and have a wonderful day.

Welcome Baby!
This card I made, was for my cousin who I grew up with. Even though we live many states apart and don't hardly talk on the phone with each other, (due to hectic lives with kids and jobs), when we get together it is like we never have been apart. So she is a very special cousin to me. Either way, as you can tell, she had a little boy, and this is the card I sent her.

The things I used:
I used my Gypsy to cut out the tree and the baby carriage are both from the Stretch Your Imagination Cart. The words and the boarder were printed from a computer program...then I did some stickles and some gems and just a touch of shimmery chalk on the tree and the carriage. The ribbon is from Michaels...the stamps behind the tree are from SU. I hope you like!

Spring Church Bulletin Boards
Here are my spring church bulletin boards. I love how they all turned out. My EasterNews paper one I got the idea from another site and changed it up just a little. I did not use my Cricut at all for this one. The one with the pond took me quite a while to do but I think it turned out really good. My other one I did not have to do a whole lot to it. Very simple yet very spring like.
This is my Easter Board
For the Pond bulletin I used:
The Clouds: Mullberry Paper
My Gypsy
Cartridges I used for it:

This card was for my SIL.I think it turned out really pretty. My camera just did not like to take pictures of it...(or maybe the operator did not check its settings.) opps! Well, what can I say, you have to learn from your mistakes...That is what happens when you are in a hurry and trying to get it in the mail box before the mail man comes. LOL Actually, the card is a dark purple and the paper is purple and dark gray. Oh well, to late to retake any pics, because it is already at the post office. Well I hope you like what you see!

My gypsy
Paper from DCWV The Luxury Stack paper (really shimmery) ♥ it!
Card Stock

Gentle Thoughts During a Difficult Time
I made this card for a friend who recently went through a very difficult time of loosing her sweet baby girl at about 16 weeks into her pregnancy. What a difficult thing to go through. So I just wanted her to know that there are people praying for her and thinking of her and her family as they go through this. She is not alone. I hope that it will encourage her to keep on moving forward.
Well, this one I used the Forever Young cart for the sentiment. and I used MS punch on the corners and some Michael's paper flowers showered with some homemade glimmer mist. The stamp comes from an older set of SU. I love the paper, which is from DCWV, "The Luxury Stack". I think this card turned out really "peaceful" looking. I hope that it did encourage her. Thanks for looking and I hope you have a wonderful day.

Fishing at dusk!
I made this card for my BIL...He recently purchased a small fishing boat for him to...of course to go fishing on. So naturally, this was my inspiration. I love how the sun turned out. Last summer my hubby and I got to watch the sun rise out over some water and it was amazing how as the sun was rising how peaceful and yet all the geese and how nature was just absolutely breathtaking. So that memory helped me to create this card, too. I think I did a pretty good job. LOL I used my gypsy to weld the boy in the canoe. The canoe is from Paper Doll Dress Up and A Child's Year for the boy in the Canoe. Also, I used Plantin SchoolBook for the "Sun", and Potpourri Basket for the fish. I also used my Cuttle bug to make the happy birthday greetings and a very old stamp for the "Happy Birthday". The sun was made with a very bright yellow card stock covered with Stickles of orange and yellow. Then the sun and the orange card stock were all edged with a brown stamp pad. I love how this turned out. Well, thanks for looking.

Leafy Hello!
My kids have truely enjoyed my Gypsy! The have all been fighting who gets to play with it! And when I tell them, "not now", they walk away pouting. LOL Either way if you noticed my blog name, it is for the reason that it is not always about me, sometimes it is about my family. I have really enjoyed sharing and spending time with my kids, and teaching them to be creative. They love watching and seeing what I can come up with next. LOL Well, the results have been growing in my oldest 13 yr. old daughter! She has met a friend on a very well monitored web page, from another country and has enjoyed teasing and chatting with him along with alot of other people from all over the world. Kinda like a pen pal, but a little less personal... Either way this one friend has recently been diagnosed with cancer, and she wanted to send him a card to hopefully lift his spirits all the way to the UK. This is the results!
Didn't it turn out GREAT! I think she did a wonderful job, and a natural! I hope he is blessed by it, and encouraged too! Well thanks for looking and I hope you have a wonderful day!

Sweetheart!
This is a card I made for my DH on Valentine's Day! My first time using the Gypsy to make a shaped card. I think it turned out pretty good. A little mushy but in a good way! LOL I found the image on a website that had it for downloading. I hope everyone had a great Valentine's Day with your special someones! We did! I always got a heart shaped box of chocolates, when I came down for breakfast as a child and it was from my Dad. So I have done the same thing with my kids! Kinda like, Easter or Christmas! They know it will be there, but it is fun do it for them.
